Are you an experienced Business Development Manager looking for an opportunity to grow and develop new business through a solutions based approach?

iCoTech are a very fast-paced, dynamic, IT Solution Delivery team based in Cardiff Bay. A Microsoft Gold Partner, specializing in the implementation of Microsoft Cloud Applications and providing innovative business solutions for large organizations.

We are looking for a focused Business Development Manager. This is an exciting opportunity targeting public sector with huge potential.

The successful Business Development Manager will receive training and support from the Head of Sales, preparing you for the future and developing your understanding of all aspects of the product and business. The Business Development Manager’s personal development will be ongoing, both during the company’s evolution and beyond. We believe in nurturing our most important asset, identifying our Business Development Manager’s ambitions, and promoting from within whenever possible.

The role will involve:

  • Following leads from our marketing team
  • Proactively source leads via company websites and LinkedIn
  • Responsible for building a sales pipeline, implementing sales activity plans with the utilisation of our successful sales process framework
  • Develop and maintain sales strategies to manage target accounts efficiently
  • 20 – 50 sales calls per week
  • Building long standing relationships with decision makers
  • Accountable for closing sales with target accounts

Ideally as a Business Development Manager you will have:

  • Experience of B2B selling, IT products and services including Microsoft 365
  • Minimum 2+ years successful experience in a sales environment
  • Enthusiastic, competitive, and solutions-orientated with a strong work ethic, high levels of confidence and integrity
  • Experience selling to the public sector
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • High level of data accuracy and experience with Dynamics CRM
  • Experience of managing a long term pot of leads to generate new business appointments
  • A high level of ambition

  • A basic salary of £35K – 45K with uncapped commission and OTE of £60K – 80K.
